I decided to film a “What I ordered Vs What I got” video to give you guys a closer look at the items I purchased. So without further ado, let’s get started!
First off, I want to give a shoutout to the Instagram store I purchased from. They have a great collection of Indian wear ranging from traditional sarees to trendy lehengas. I had been eyeing a few pieces for a while now, so I finally decided to place an order. The process was seamless, and the store had great customer service which made me feel confident in my purchase.
Now onto the exciting part – the unboxing! As I eagerly opened each package, I couldn’t wait to see if the items matched the images on the website. The first piece I ordered was a beautiful silk saree in a vibrant pink color. The image on the website showed intricate embroidery and detailing, so I was hoping for the same level of craftsmanship in person.
As I laid out the saree, I was slightly disappointed to see that the embroidery was not as intricate as shown in the picture. The colors were a bit duller, and the fabric felt slightly different than what I was expecting. However, the overall design was still beautiful and I knew I could style it in my own way to make it work.
Next, I unboxed a stunning lehenga that I had been eyeing for a while. The lehenga was a combination of deep blue and gold, with intricate beadwork and sequins. As I pulled out the lehenga from the packaging, I was thrilled to see that it looked even more beautiful in person. The colors were rich and vibrant, and the beadwork was impeccable.
I couldn’t wait to try on the lehenga and see how it fit. To my surprise, the lehenga fit me like a glove and the craftsmanship was truly worth the price. I was beyond happy with this purchase and knew that it would be a standout piece in my wardrobe.
Lastly, I unboxed a few accessories that I had added to my cart last minute. I got a pair of statement earrings and a traditional clutch to complete my Indian wear look. The earrings were even more stunning in person, with intricate detailing and a touch of sparkle. The clutch, on the other hand, was a bit smaller than I had anticipated, but still beautifully crafted.
Overall, I had a great experience shopping from this Instagram store. While there were a few discrepancies between what I ordered and what I received, the quality of the items and the level of craftsmanship exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to style these pieces and show them off at upcoming events and gatherings.
