Hey everyone! Welcome back to my channel. Today, I am super excited to bring you part two of my pro makeup tutorial for beginners. In this video, we will be focusing on contouring, highlighting, and my lip routine. If you missed part one, be sure to check that out for some essential tips on foundation, concealer, and eye makeup.

Contouring and highlighting can really transform your face and enhance your natural features. It is all about using light and dark shades to create depth and dimension. So, let’s get started!

Contouring

To start off with contouring, you will need a contour powder or cream that is a few shades darker than your skin tone. I like to use powder for a more natural look, but you can use cream if you prefer a more defined contour.

I recommend using an angled brush for precise application. Start by sucking in your cheeks to locate the hollows of your cheeks. Apply the contour in a straight line from the top of your ear towards the corner of your mouth. Make sure to blend it out well to avoid any harsh lines.

Next, contour the sides of your forehead by applying the product along your hairline and blending it towards the center. This will help to create the illusion of a smaller forehead. You can also contour your jawline and the sides of your nose if you like.

Remember, less is more with contouring. It is always easier to build up the product than to remove it if you apply too much. Practice is key when it comes to contouring, so don’t be too hard on yourself if it doesn’t turn out perfectly the first time.

Highlighting

Now, let’s move on to highlighting. Highlighter is used to bring light to the high points of your face, such as your cheekbones, brow bone, and the tip of your nose. I like to use a powder highlighter for a subtle glow.

Apply the highlighter to the tops of your cheekbones using a fan brush or a small fluffy brush. You can also apply it to your brow bone, the inner corners of your eyes, and the tip of your nose for a radiant finish.

Highlighting is all about enhancing your natural features, so don’t be afraid to experiment with different shades and finishes to find what works best for you. Just remember to blend, blend, blend for a seamless finish.

Lip Routine

Now, let’s move on to my lip routine. For a flawless lip look, start by exfoliating your lips to remove any dead skin. You can use a gentle lip scrub or simply a warm washcloth to gently buff away any dryness.

Next, apply a lip balm to hydrate your lips and create a smooth base for your lipstick. I like to let the balm sit for a few minutes to really sink in before moving on to the next step.

For a fuller lip look, you can use a lip liner to outline your lips and create a more defined shape. I recommend choosing a shade that is close to your natural lip color for a more natural result.

Finally, apply your favorite lipstick or lip gloss to complete your look. Whether you prefer a matte finish or a glossy shine, choose a formula that makes you feel confident and beautiful.
